January-New Year, New Challenges

I welcomed the new year with much enthusiasm and hope.  I’m enthusiastic about all the new opportunities, joys, and memories that await me this year.  I’m hopeful for prayers answered on behalf of my loved ones, close friends, and those I do not know but understand they may be living in unsafe environments or conditions.

I’ve dreamed from a young girl that everyone in this world could enjoy the many riches, beauty and provisions of this world that God created and filled with every single resource for the sole purpose of our ability to sustain, heal, nourish, replenish and renew ourselves so that we could live healthy, wholesome, and happy lives.

However, over the years of growing up and getting older, more experienced, and more mature I’ve learned to expect and welcome new challenges.  Some challenges helped me grow into a more understanding, kind, considerate, knowledgeable, forgiving, and loving person.  Other challenges have proven to be tests of my endurance, patience, faith, self-awareness, strength, determination, perseverance, and love!

You see, this month of January on the 27th I will face a major surgery on my spine. Of course I am not enthusiastic about it, but I am very hopeful that it will correct the problem I’m having that is causing me some debilitation and limiting physical and daily activities and movements that I’ve grown accustom to and enjoy doing very much.

I will have more to comment on in February so please tune in for the update next month.  For now, please remember to stay faithful, positive, enthusiastic and hopeful for this new year. I will do the same.

If you would like to comment on this blog or on ways that you have found to stay enthusiastic and hopeful, please share them with us.  This blog is a safe, secure, and nonjudgmental community space for healing and we would love to hear from you!

Thank you and God Bless You!!!
