February 2026-This Years shortest Month!

As I read on the Internet, "February comes chock-full of holidays and major events. Between Valentine's Day, Presidents' Day, Groundhog Day, Black History Month, the Super Bowl, and sometimes Lunar New Year and Ramadan, there's plenty to celebrate."

I took part in some celebrations like Black History Month. Here's a posting I have on my Facebook/Meta page that you may want to check out:

Come celebrate The Black Children's Book Week, Grand Opening of the Shoppable, Virtual BLACK CHILDREN'S BOOK MUSEUM. A virtual museum and another place you will find my children's picture books "God's Perfect Gift, Disability through the Eyes of a Child "Winning the Race! and Special Education is Especially Fun!"

Please join me and come to the 2026 Opening Exhibit beginning this Saturday, Feb 21st from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Exhibit runs for one week, ending February 28th. If you missed todays opening Exhibit, click below and follow link to visit the museum and purchase any of the books you like. Hint: once you enter turn right and then left at end of the aisle. Both books will be hanging on the wall to your right. With this link you can visit anytime. Thank You, Enjoy!

My other exciting moment in February 2026 was taking time out for a trip to Georgia to hang out with my son and grandson for one month. It works like therapy for me to have quality time with my immediate family and to be in a more comfortable weather environment and escape the brutal winter storms Ohio was hit with starting at the end of January.

Both of these events allowed me to use time focusing on things other than grieving and instead, involving my self immersed in positive energy, good vibes, and the love of my family and friends. I can honestly say this past year I've made good progress on moving forward in my new normal while still thriving off the beautiful, loving memories built with my husband Mike and my beloved special someone, Jesse (he passed in January this year 2026).

Although February is coined as the shortest month of the year, if you're reading this blog, perhaps, if you agree, there is still time for you to find some way to celebrate something good or positive that has happened to you and helped you in a good way to move a little closer to embracing your new normal lifestyle.

If you have already found some new way of coping, would you like to share them in this safe, secure, nonjudgmental community space for healing?  We would love to hear from you.

God Bless You!

NOVEMBER - THANK YOU!

I searched the internet for statements on what November is known for. To no surprise, it's major holidays like Thanksgiving and Veterans Day, the transition to colder weather in some parts of the U.S.
